Finance Admin Assistant

The Finance Admin Assistant plays a crucial role within our care home group, ensuring that all financial activities and administrative tasks are handled with accuracy and efficiency. This position is also responsible for providing support to the CEO on ad hoc tasks, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the group.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Administration

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
    • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
    • Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and customers to resolve discrepancies and manage queries.
    • Reconcile petty cash and credit cards

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: AAT Level 2 (Desirable)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in the healthcare or care home sector.
    • Experience providing administrative support at an executive level is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Xero & Sage payroll
    • MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Key Attributes:
    • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Part time office based
  • 12:00 – 16:00 x4 days per week
