We're thrilled to share the latest progress at Langtree Care Home, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This week, we successfully installed the first window on the north wing, adding a touch of excitement to our ongoing construction.
Above it, the roof to the north side is almost complete, but our next big turning point will be getting the home watertight and giving the insides a good clean. Aiming for March, we can start working on the internals and the flooring – equipped with underfloor heating for our residents’ pleasure!
One thing I’m sure everyone is looking forward to is the removal of the scaffolding that currently covers Langtree, once that roof is done it’s coming down and you’ll really get to appreciate the brickwork that will define our remarkable home.
And then it’s full speed ahead, with plans to be energised by April we’ll have our Tradesmen on site applying the finishing touches as the building prepares for its fit-out phase.
The Interior Designers have done an amazing job in mapping out the insides taking inspiration from the Wainwrights, Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, we’re so excited to share it with you.
The final stages will involve landscaping and infrastructure development, including lush gardens, woodland walks, and accessible parking. We've covered significant ground, and we're almost there!
Thank you for your continued support on this incredible journey.
