Las Vegas at Lakeside
Lakeside Care Home hosted a James Bond-themed Casino Night for residents, staff and loved ones.
With casino games, mocktails and canapés guests indulged and splashed the cash.
The activity was extra special as it was exceptionally inclusive. Millennium Care is focused on providing activities and sessions that fit into each resident's life, in many care homes male isolation can be an issue but activities that don't traditionally lean towards a gender ensure more involvement as a whole.
"The evening was a blast. Seeing our residents let loose and the smile on their faces makes our day. It's brilliant that staff and loved ones were able to join in to.
"We love thinking outside the box and doing things a bit different to the norm! Tonight was a great example of that, it was a complete team effort and we're already looking forward to our next brain wave!"
