I’m the Contracts and Site Manager here at Millennium Care. Part of the family since March 2021; I’ve been an Estate Manager; Assistant Site Manager and I was recently promoted to my current role.
My roles within Millennium have given me countless opportunities to develop and I’m thankful to be heavily involved in the Standish Care Village, it’s something I’m hugely proud of.
I’ve a long-standing history as a joiner, with 30 years’ experience in the field. I spent nine years as the Co-Owner of a bespoke joinery manufacturing business, working on multimillion-pound projects in hospitals, student accommodations, churches, and the royal horticultural society.
But this project is the most exciting yet. Managing the development of the new build, Langtree Care Home, which will complete the Standish Care Village, is so rewarding for me.
I’m looking forward to our completion and what it will mean to Standish and the North West.
My work is incredibly varied, I get the opportunity to work with all different professions and trades. Always up for a challenge I love problem-solving with like-minded people, it feels like there’s nothing we can’t crack – game on!
This project is fantastic, and I love how it opens doors to give a little back to the local area. I think it’s important to keep the local community informed and involved throughout the development as, much like Millennium Care, our community is our family too.
Personally, being a part of this development, with a company that supports each other, is a real honour. Every single day is different, and I work with a great bunch. I absolutely love it, it’s unbelievably rewarding.
It’s safe to say I can’t wait for the positive impact this 52-bed EMI care home will have on current and future residents.
An ageing population is seeing the need for EMI care increase, Langtree will provide solutions to complex care requirements ensuring loved ones have that peace of mind they desperately need and the respite they deserve.
